Moser’s Hour Records

What a great read!  What a crazy price to pay for an old book!  Damn, this thing cost me 70 bucks used.  Worth it though, it is a very intimate journey through the end of Moser’s career and all of his hour records in detail.  You really feel like you know Francesco Conconi after reading this book, guy has amazing passion for what he is doing.  Moser really did start off a new generation of sports science in cycling, these guys were doing stuff that we now take for granted back when most were still using toe clips.  If you can find a copy of this book then get it and read it.
