Back at it
Back on the track, pretty torn up and sore from the crash 2 days ago, but am able to get on with it. 3 x 30m @ 43-46 kph in training gear (no aero helmet/wheels etc). A struggle to hold my aero bar correct with my oozing forearm shred, but this is not supposed to be easy right?
Sort of a bit of a good day for the legs though, was able to maintain about 10 watts higher and almost 10 beats per minute higher, that works out to a tick over 1kph faster. Either the body is adapting to the aero bike position and getting more of my road fitness to the pedals or I am just freshened up a bit finally from my 1 hour flog a week back, see if I can back it up later this week…
Luckily I had my main man Steve the Chiro work on me for an hour yesterday, huge difference. Guy has magic thumbs, amazing. Hopping in a week to be healed up and getting some better sleep.
